Thank You Int 2 !

Well - another year of Int2 is over. All I can say is WOW !

Kids saw God this week - many for the first time. We know that when people see God - that lives will be changed - FOREVER ! It was an awesome week and just being part of the Int2 family is an honor that is Indescribable ! Why - because God is the head of our family and HE IS INDESCRIBABLE !

WE ARE .... GOD'S KIDS !!!

It's a beautiful day!

Well, God continues to bless us here at Manatawny! The weather has been beautiful all day long! We had a 30 minute shower/thunderstorm while the kids were at Special Awards and Bible Gameshow. At the end of the storm, God blessed us with a HUGE rainbow, with a second one partially visible above it. Our God is an amazing and powerful God!

It is hard to believe that our week is almost over. For me, working in the canteen, I always know when the end is near when kids' canteen cards start to fill up. That brings the sad realization that the week is almost over. Hopefully, we have been able to make a difference in just one camper's life and hopefully we have shown just one camper what it means to be part of an 'Indescribable' family! What a great group of campers we have had this week!

We fell asleep within 10 minutes.....While doing his morning jog Bret saw us asleep @ the campfire with a small deer nibbling on the grass no more then 10' from us as we slept---that was @ 6:29. We awoke @ 6:35.

Lot's of amazing questions/thoughts during campfire devotional time such as--why am I here (on earth), I wish my parents went to church more then once a month.

Boyz to Men

Boys to Men was a band out of Philly sometime ago.....nice name---a bit catchy.....these are your boys in the Intermediate II Tug-O-War Championship best of three. At this point BOTH cabins were on their 6th match---BRUTAL!

Boys 2 won the match and everyone who partcipated in the tug won.....when you give like we gave....you win.

Slow -n- Fast

Life is interesting....one minute it is moving so slow and the next you are 1/2 way through the week. We have an excellent cabin. First we are FULL-- 7 men and two counselors....Our verse is Proverbs 27:17----go ahead look it up.

The Challenge Course. It aint' ez, but it's crazy, crazy fun!!!

WOW, do we miss you! Alex is an integral part of the people who make up Intermediate II.
I have been at camp with him for 4+ years....and he is missed.

Work happens and Alex is working....new job etc.

So Alex this post's for you!!
1. Mary has not been able to get any canteen without YOUR canteen card!
2. Maybe now Boy's 5 will win the tug-o-war today!

4. We miss you during band practice----your professionalism rocks!
5. We miss you....your general company....we don't want to make this harder then it is, but we miss you!

Today Mary and Mike leave early.....God has us all all over the place for reasons.

Boys Cabin 3

Alright, here's our first group picture! Yesterday afternoon we did the Challenge 1, formerly known as the Low Ropes 1. It's a pretty good team-building obstacle course experience. We tried to keep a giant see-saw level and sing a song and we climbed Heaven's Gate. Here is Boys 3 right before climbing the giant wall.

Girls Cabin 3...again

Hey this is Aryn, the counselor from girls cabin 3. Kristin, Anya, Stephie and Sarah are in my cabin and we have been having a blast. Everyone but Kristin has NEVER been to a camp week before, so this is a great expericnce for them, and I know they're all enjoying it so much! It's awesome to see how God is working through everyone and I can't wait to do some more fun camp activities. We'll talk to you all later!

Boys Cabin 3

I can't believe it's Monday already! This morning we had our seventh and final camper show up so we now have a full cabin!

Justin, Lorin, James H, James W, Jason, John and CJ are all having a great time so far. All of their Bible teachers have complimented them and they are doing great in the team activities. I will try and get some pictures posted tomorrow!

Sunday Day 2

Okay so our clothesline is the one with the Eagles towel (Kyle's) on it and yes, the boys put the Eagles front and center, but as you can see by Cabin 4's clothesline...we need a lot of work!

All in all we are having a great time! Last nite they zonked out like you would not believe---after having a wonderful swim time (kill the man w/the ball) and a great campfire etc, etc, etc....

Sunday is off to a great start---wonderful worship and activities.

So---Kyle is doing great and doing a great job studying during bible class

Mitchell is having a fun time although he did forget his deodorant---no worries we got him some!

Conner is doing very good and is enjoying all the activities

Alex is having a great week as he has aspirations to one day be a counselor

Jacob is really, really enjoying himself

Andre is enjoying everything

Scotty is doing a lot of partcipating which makes for a great time!

They are eating well, showering and deodorizing everyday

Hope you guys miss them for they are surely a great bunch of men!!!

Off to Camp!

Hey folks, Intermediate 2 starts in just a few hours. Wanted to let you know that it's our intention to keep this blog constantly updated with info from the week. But we also needed to let you know that Camp experienced a lightning strike this week that knocked out the Internet server. As of this morning, this had not been repaired. So we'll do our best, and we hope you'll see lots of interesting stuff on this site starting in just a few hours. But if updates are coming slowly, it's because we're scrambling for Web access. Thanks for your understanding...

Please pray for our week! We have 74 incredible kids and 65 amazing staff coming, and we can't wait to see God in action...
